June was a grand month!

During June I pedaled more than I have during any other month ever. This is the first time I've come near 1,000 miles in one month. I racked up a total of 1134.6 miles on the bike.

Cars, nothing but trouble?

I saw a couple of accidents when out riding today The one pictured was a Shelby Mustang driven into the rear of another car by a healthy teenage boy, who in my humble opinion should have been biking instead. I bet tonight his parents would agree.

I rode to work and back, then back to the office again this evening. Today's commute and a half got me 28.4 miles.

The Nacho Ride brings out a big crowd tonight.

Another good crowd made their way to Eagle tonight. We finalized plans to Taco Ride in Iowa on Thursday. Talked about Friday's hustle and planned for Sunday's 4th of July ride in Seward. We had a great ride out and back and with today's commute I racked up 48.6 miles for the day.

Striped

The striper was out painting the town on the Billy Wolfe Trail this morning on the way to work. Ride your bike instead of driving tomorrow and check it out for yourself.

A break in Nelson from the tough headwind.

We're 31.4 miles into the last day of TDN, but we're spinning into a headwind from the North.

No wonder Patches is so fast, he runs that recumbent on diesel.

Lemonade & Postcards in Stamford.

They treat us great out on the road!

Drinks at Beaver City.

We're 1/2 way done today. It's been beautiful, but it's getting hot fast.

An early start.

Today is supposed to be hot, so everyone started early. We're having breakfast in a church basement Wilsonville. We are already 1/4 of the way done for the day.

A hundee!

We rode 12 miles South into a tough headwind then turned back and returned to Cambridge fast. Tonight's spin gave me an extra 24 miles for a total today of exactly 100.0 miles. That's my first century this year, and my first century on the Felt.

The true definition of a friend!

After a break I wanted to go for a spin and Patches offered to tag along. Even though he'd already rode 100 miles today. After our ride he ended up with over 126 miles for the day, that's a full 50 miles more than most everyone else on TDN!!! What a guy!

They did it!

Congratulations boys! They each got a century today.

Cambridge - TDN day 2 stop.

I rolled into Cambridge just before 3pm with 76.0 miles. Now to pitch the tent and chill out.

Patches & Dan shooting for a century.

I ran into Patches & Dan in Holbrook, those speed demons finished already and are now going for an extra ride to make today a century.

A peanut butter shake in Arapahoe.

You don't have to ask me twice!
