GPBC Easter Candy Ride.

I met up with "Patches" (that's what I'm calling him now) and a handful of others at 84th St & Hwy 6 for a spin to the candy store. We rode 5 miles past just for the fun of it, then turned back into a very tough headwind for the 15 miles back to Lincoln.

Patches picked up a nail and got a big pinch flat. He tried to repair it with 5 patches, but the tube was ruined. His spares were both 20" and his rear wheel was 26", he was able to stretch one enough to fit and was good to go.

I fought the wind back across town on the 84th St trail going home and arrived back at the house with a respectable wind/sunburn and 48.1 miles for the day.
