The 3rd Annual NSFW Ride.

16 of us met up at the Zoo this morning and made stops at Joy Ride, The Bike Rack, Pepe's, Ivanna Cone, and Monkey Wrench Cycles.

The weather was perfect and spirits were high despite a couple of mishaps. One was a bear that came after our group on the 84th St trail till I saved everyone and came away with just a few abrasions. The other happened as we rode down a tight section of N 1st St.

We had a blast and got home with 45.6 miles for the day.

Another great day to bike your drive. Give it a try sometime. The work commute today was 21.4 fun filled miles.

Tonight on the ride home from work I dropped off some 3rd Annual NSFW Ride flyers at bike shops. This year it starts at the Bicycle Rest Stop sculpture where the Rock Island and Billy Wolfe trails intersect on the North side of the zoo at 9am on April 18th. Hope to see you there!
I've gotten 2 work commutes, some errands, and 4 rides up the hill in since my last post racking up 66.1 miles.
