A free weekend!
October 2010 had 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays, and 5 Sundays! That's a whole extra weekend for biking. This is the first time this has happened since 2006. Not wanting to waste it our youngest and I rode to church, he on his Felt and me on the Austro-Daimler, we had the best parking spot there. That gave me 4.94 miles for the day. And that closes the books on October with 609.02 miles.

The Brooks bag broke, a commute & a half & a ride to church.
This morning's ride to work was going great till I hopped off the curb and crossed Cornhusker Ave (a busy 4-lane) I heard my bag hit the street. I stopped quick and retrived it to find that the leather straps had finally wore through.
After riding home, I had to go back across town to the office again. I needed to drive, but took the bike and rode it home and just left the pick-up at work. It'll be nice to have it there anyway when I sneak out over lunch Friday to get some loot for the misses for Mother's Day.
Then this evening our youngest and I rode our Felts to church and back. Today's miles = 39.5
