The 2nd Annual Central Ne Quail Forever Banquet.

Tonight was the Quail Forever banquet in Boelus so our youngest and I made our way out for the food and to try our luck on some of the raffles. Every seat was taken and lots of money was raised for upland habitat. We're staying on the Loup River and we'll spend tomorrow getting ready to deer hunt. Rifle season starts Saturday.

No turkey yet, but some PF swag to show for the weekend.

Our 11yr old spent yesterday at the river near Cairo turkey hunting with his grandparents, then went to Loup City's annual Phesants Forever banquet. He'll be taking my Hunters Ed class this week too.
